Like, REALLY early, as in one of their first songs and from their first ever release early.

What happened to them? I remember them being in a Comcast commercial, dropping a new album (Infinity on high) and then disappearing.

Went on hiatus in 2008 after their album Folie A Deux pretty much failed, came back in 2013 with Save Rock And Roll, and they released another album in 2015, both albums were relatively popular, but sounded alot different to their earlier stuff. They’ve become more of a pop band.

All these fetus fans that weren’t even born when Take This To Your Grave came out. They play Saturday at a show and everyone gets confused as fuck when Pete starts screaming.

Yeah. Never gave a listen to Follie. There was only one good song on Infinity (Arms Race) I think. I wasn’t happy with that album but can’t remember why.
I think Kings of Leon fell the same way.

It’s true though. A lot of their current fans are younger and didn’t get into them until their post-reunion pop rock stuff.
I can’t count how many times I’ve seen the comment “Pete calm down lol” on YouTube because of this:

I get it. I can’t click on the top link, the bubblegum pop shows instantly.
The Fetus thing got me going because of an incident 13 years ago. I bought a house off of a guy whose son was storing a bunch of vehicles at. I started talking to the kid and somehow we got onto music. And as soon as I heard “Dude, have you heard of Green Day?” I almost lost it.

Green Day’s debut EP came out 28 years ago. Green Day’s debut EP came out 28 years ago.

I know! It sucks! I don’t want to be Old!
But it was funny to have a 17 year old ask me, then in my early 30s, if I ever heard of them. You couldn’t escape them at one point.
